Wedding dress donation?

Hi ladies!  This is my first post here, so...hi again!  Smile

I was wondeirng if any of you had heard of or know of any places where one can donate their wedding dress.  I'm not planning on keeping mine, but I'm having a hard time finding a place to donate it to.  I don't really want to donate it to GoodWilll - I'd rather donate it to a place that specifically takes in wedding gowns for low-income women.

Thank you, thank you!

Re: Wedding dress donation?

  • Welcome to the nest!

It might not be quite what you're thinking of, but you can donate your gown to Brides Against Breast Cancer.  They sell the gowns at events across the country, and the money raised goes to grant wishes to those with metastatic breast cancer.

  • That's where I bought mine. Angel  I've volunteered in sales for them in the past.  It's a very worthy organization and I have recommended donating to them many times.
