please recommend your mop

I know it sounds like an easy thing to get, but the mop we have now drives me crazy. DH bought it before we were married.  It is one from WalMart that you have to buy a new mop head for every 3 months or something.  I don't really like it and would like to find a better one that I can put the mop head in the washer or that doesn't wear out as quickly.  We have tile floors so I don't know if that makes any difference, but I would appreciate any recommendations! Re: please recommend your mop

  • i love the swiffer wet jet sooo much. Also they have these little robot mops called the scooba...they are ind pricy but my mom has one and she has had it for 3 years and uses it everyday...no problems and swears by it!!
  • I just got a Bissell steam mop and am pretty happy with it so far.

  • In terms of regular mops...I have a Libman wonder mop. It works great and the head can be washed.

However, I also have a steam mop..it was worth the price tag. So much less mess and hassle.

  • i'm in the same predicament (kinda) we don't even have a mop and we have bamboo wood floors. i vacuum all the time but have to get down on my hands and knees to mop! it seems quite old fashioned to me :) haha

i've only done the kitchen and bathroom b/c we have a pretty small apt and have rugs.

we need to get one soon...
