Apt Rental or Hotel in Paris

Hi.  I want to take my husband to Paris for 4 nights for his birthday in February.  Do you have any suggestions for apartments that would rent per night rather than a whole week?  If you have any decently priced hotel recommendations, I would like that as well.  Thanks so much!

Normally I stay at Hotel Odeon.   It's very central and I believe it's in the fifth arrondissement.  It?s a great location as far as hotel?s go?it's really close to the metro, Sorbonne, and some fabulous restaurants.  You're also about 3/4 blocks from the Seine, walking distance to Notre Dame and quite a few monuments.

  • We are renting an apartment for our trip in March.  The owner is great to work with and the apartment looks so cute (very close to the Louvre and the Opera). I believe the minimum is 2 or 3 nights.

    I'll PM you the info.

  • We stayed in one of their Paris apt.  Great.

  • Hello! Just got back from Paris on Oct 20th, we stayed with a company called feellikehomeinparis.com. It was amazing! We had a view of the effiel tower and a lovely apartment in Montmatre. Check out the website. We got our place for about $190 usd per night for only 5 nights. Happy travels.
  • Hi. Just got back from there last weekend. It will drive you mad looking because you are spoiled for choice. Have a look on Trip advisor which has info on apartments on it's Forum page.

Decide what you really want ie romantic or authentic etc and go with it. I personally think being close to The Louvre is good as it's an easy walk to Notre Dame and expolring the Islands and also the Pont Neuf bridge for that unmissable river cruise.Very romantic and lots of best bits an easy walk away - vital if you have only a few days. Last time I stayed in the Place du la Louvre literally across the road, $150 a night and well rated on Trip Advisor. This time I rented a garret in an historic building by the Pont Neuf for ?580 for three nights all in (no deposit). It was OK but probably not nice enough for your first trip (especially if you are tall!)
