What's the easiest way to Rittenhouse Sq from BFB?

I'm horrible when driving in Philly so can anyone give me the easiest route to Rittenhouse from Ben Franklin?  Thanks!

Re: What's the easiest way to Rittenhouse Sq from BFB?

  • over BFB, follow signs for 676 WEST. stay in right lane, take BRAOD STREET EXIT.

At top of ramp stay in right lane (you will actually be on 15th)... and stay straight for about 8 blocks and turn RIGHT onto Walnut.  Go to 18th.  Voil?.

  • Down Market, around city hall, continue on Market to 5th, make a left, follow signs for BFB

ETA: Sorry read it wrong.  Never mind me.

  • Thanks!  My boss gave me a map ( I can't do maps LOL) to go all the way down Vine St, go around Logan circle, get on 19th and take it to Walnut.

That just looked confusing to me and didn't have the heart to tell him.  Rum your directions sound easy thanks!

  • your boss' way would work but the circle can be nutty, esp if you are as directionally challenged as you are letting on :)

Be confident when you are going straight down 15th - when you see City Hall appear on your left , and people kinda heading left to go around it, do NOT go that way. there are two lanes that stay straight on 15th - on the right side - you can do it.

  • From a person who gives directions to the scared of most scared when driving in the city - my mom - I'd say this...

    B F Bridge

Take Vine STREET (not 676/Expressway. Lanes to Vine St. are to the right of the lanes that lead to 676)

Left on 12th St. (Follow past Arch, Market, Chestnut)

    Right on Walnut St.

The Square starts at 18th St.

  • Bwa!  How'd you guess?  Actually I am ususally pretty good but I get so backwards when driving in the city.

That sounds extremely easy thank you!
