Everything went fine! My wonderful hubby has his SA scheduled for next Weds. BTW - AF has STILL not shown up.
Here is one of the most embarassing things - let me set the scene. So we are sitting in the waiting room, waiting to be called back. I can see about 3-4 different patients charts. Nothing personal, confidential or private but just the folder with all of the various papers. I see this huge one, like 2-3 inches (yes inches) thick. I think you all know where this is going. Various nurses come and get the various charts and then come and call for each patient. We are the last ones in the waiting room and finally get called back. We do the necessary things, BP, iron (hemocrit) test, urine test, weight (ugh, well double ugh) and then we finally meet our doctor. And he said, "I'm so glad to see that you are one healthy patient because when I saw the size of your chart (file) I was really concerned. Your chart, no kidding, has got to be the biggest one I've ever received (for a new patient) in my 15 years of practicing!" Good Lord - that was awkward! Then my husband chimes in "That's my special girl, way to go babe!" Thanks hun!
I just have two super thorough doctors and I've been with my PCP for 12 yrs, and her practice literally sent EVERYTHING within that 12 yr period.
So the plan for me is: day 1 of this cycle, I will call and set up my day blood work which will test for FSH, Estradoil, AMH, & LH. Then between days 1-5, I will have a ultrasound for the Basal Antral Follicle count. On days 6-12, I will have my HSG performed. Our follow-up appt is set for Oct 28th.
