Spent the Afternoon with the Vacuum On

Has any other mommies been so desperate to keep their child from screaming that you have resorted to this?

  • Oh I should say that Hayden is teething and NOTHING was helping her.  I don't want anyone to think I am just ignoring my child's needs. :)

  • My oldest, now 4, LOVED the vacuum when she was little---especially when she was teething!

  • Yes, I read it in a book and it worked like a charm.   She slept like a baby when I turned it on... still sleeps through the sound when I do it.
  • I had a little dustbuster and would run it outside of DDs room at naptime.  Yeah for rechargable batteries.  Another thing that help us was holding a little handheld vibrating massager on her tummy.
  • I have a CD that has white noise (one of the sounds is a vaccum).  I bought it off Amazon for less than $5 to help E when she was little.
  • Yes.

    Many, many times.
