The weekend goes by SO. FAST.

That's really all. I wish the weekends were longer. It's so hard sometimes to balance resting and having fun with getting stuff done like laundry and cleaning the sink. I try to do what I can of that during the week but you know how that goes...

Re: The weekend goes by SO. FAST.

  • Yep, I just told DH "I wish weekends were five days and work weeks were 2"

  • Normally I would agree with you but I worked all weekend so my weekend dragged by.  However, I am off for the next three days and they will fly by.  I ususally just pick one day that I am off and get all of my housework/errands done, so I can enjoy myself the rest of the time.  Doesn't always work out that way but I try!
Can't believe our little guy is on his way to 2!

I try to do as much as I can on Friday afternoon/night so there's not tons to do through the weekend. By Sunday night though, I feel like I am right back to where I started- just with clean sinks and bathrooms.

  • I know that feeling. Last week I was so tired, I didn't do a single thing that I needed to do.  Now today I am overwhelmed by ths stack of laundry that has to be done, how much food I need to buy at the grocery store, and how disgusting my house is.  What am I doing today though?  Catching up on DVR!  I am so lazy lately!
