May be a weird question...

So my BFF just had her baby a few days ago.  We are going to visit her this weekend and I wanted to bring her something.  I wanna get her a balloon and maybe some flowers, but for those ladies who have had a child...was there something that you would have liked to have gotten from a visitor?  Maybe that's a weird question but I just thought is there something you would have prefered over flowers or a ballon?  Okay, hope I make some type of sense over the internet :)

  • To tell you the truth, instead of flowers I would've LOVED a fresh fruit tray. It's summertime, watermelon especially would've made my day.

I'm not having a baby...yet, but whenever I do, I'm totally requesting this!  Fruit, yum!

  • Mrs. G that sounds like a good idea!!  I wouldn't have thought of that.  I will have to make her a little fruit tray.
  • Or even some frozen meals for when she does not have time to cook.

  • I love the idea of the fruit tray . . . or one of those fruit bouquets . . . that way you can feel like you gave her flowers. :c)
