Akward moment at lunch...

So I live in a large town/small city (depending on which way you look at it).

Well I was walking into the restaurant I was going to have lunch at and I bump into a guy I used to date in college. I am wearing my big sunglasses, notice him out of the corner of my eye and think "sh!t! please don't see me, please don't see me". Well he does see me but he's w/clients. I think "please don't talk to me, please don't talk to me". Well he does. He gave be a quick hug and "nice to see you". It was akward - if I could turn red, i would have been all sorts of red!

Well don't you know by the time I got our table he had texted me! I had to let him know I was married, but it was still flattering!

It takes Shakespeare, a genius, to come up with "He dies." And yet every time I read those two words, I find myself overwhelmed with dysphoria. And I know it's only natural to be sad, but not because of the words "He dies." but because of the life we saw prior to the words

  • geez!  From a married man?  Feel sorry for his wife!

I used to run into my ex-bf from college at my gym all the freaking time when I had just met M.  He really treated me like sh*t before we broke up, and he kept trying to make it up to me, coming to talk to me and all that jazz while I was working out.  I was so freaking relieved when I could show him my e-ring and be like, "Dude - that boyfriend I was talking about every.single.time. you would talk to me..well, he's now my fiance".

  • Nice. Lucky wife he has!
  • Why does he still have your number is what I want to know.
