Really silly question re: Scotland weather

What kind of clothes do you see kids in there?  Short sleeves?  Shorts?  Or warmer stuff?

Re: Really silly question re: Scotland weather

  • Layers, layers, layers.  Preferably an outer layer that is waterproof :)

You won't see kids in shorts b/c the high right now is mid to low 60s in Glasgow which is usually the most temperate city.

    ?Transatlantic Blonde?
    it's called a kilt, he's scottish
  • Definitely will want layers. I don't think I've seen any kids in shorts in ages. It's still fall here. Jeans, t-shirt, fleece and a waterproof jacket should cover it (for the whole family actually).

  • You might see kids in shorts - W wears them as soon as it hits 60... but then that's warmish here. But the girls may not find it warm.... I'd bring at least one warm weather outfit b/c you never know.
