For Wedding: Vintage Car Help

Hey All! I was referred over here from theknot's board.....

So for FI and I's exit, we're wanting to use a vintage car. (This is after I told him no rickshaw or tank). I know that some of the limo companies have them....but do any of you ladies know of any other places? or have used a particular vendor that you loved??

Re: For Wedding: Vintage Car Help

  • We used A Bee Limousine for transportation. They have a 1939 Cadillac Limousine that we used from our reception to our hotel at the end of the night.

To be honest I don't remember much about the pricing or anything, but we loved them! They were on time, the driver was awesome, and it served its purpose pretty much. DH's only request was that we have a vintage car drive us at the end of the night.

The website is, phone number 336-8108. Good luck!

  • We used Schworer Beverly Hills Limo. They have a Rolls that we rented. There are pictures in my bio.

(One thing to remember to ask about is air conditioning for the summer.) When we planned, I initially really wanted an A Bee Limo car, but at the time (it could have changed since then) it didn't have air conditioning.  Which could have been a problem for a summer wedding.

  • I don't think A Bee has a car anymore (unles they have recently bought another).  I did look into Schworer, and I can't remember why I didn't go with them.  Oh wait - I think it was about the color.

Anyway, I'm the one who found the private guy.  He charged me $250 for 2 hours of service.  Email me at [email protected] and I'll give you his name and number.

BTW, there is a pic of the car in my married bio.

  • We were lucky enough to use my husbands uncles car. We were not going to ask till his aunt suggested it. Before that though you might want to just look through the yellow pages or see if a local mall is having a vintage car show. Ask around while there to see if they rent or know someone who does. Good Luck!
  • We had wanted a vintage car for our wedding day, but most of the car companies that have them dont use them/bring them out in the winter :( ?We were told they "put them out of commission" ?during that time of year. ?Our wedding was in Dec. so we couldnt get one.

I would try to find someone you know through someone that would be willing to drive you.?
