Daycare Costs

Ok.. So i was wondering.. ballpark figure, how much do you spend on Daycare every week?

My youngest will be a year old when we start looking and I know the price is different depending on the area, if it is a home or center, etc but I was just trying to see about how much daycare would cost.  Also, do you pay per day or per week? I am thinking we will start him off with 3 days a week for now, but who knows.

 Thanks girls!

Where is time going??

Re: Daycare Costs

  • we use a childtime for my 15 mo old and it is 155/wk.  it's not the best, but it's not horrible either.  another place i looked at near 202/priest was 180/wk.

we pay per week.  if he goes 3 days a week, we still have to pay the full rate.  if you want more of a part time thing you might want to look at an in-home provider.  we've found some on craigslist and through az childcare resource and referral.  i used an in home daycare for DS when he was an infant and we had a good experience with that, i really liked the attention he got.
