Poor DH

Poor guy, he's been working his tail off. He worked until 8 or 9 m-w last week, until 12 on thursday, then he stayed until 4 am on saturday morning, then came home around 3 sunday morning, then worked all day sunday and only came home at 630am to shower and say hi to me and go back to work. He was at work until 4 this morning too. All for a trade show that started today. I went to help him out last night and he was still there forever since once of their demo's was breaking a lot. He came home from his show today at 5, had some soup and went to bed at 6. Poor guy. He's so exhausted. He's normally a 6 hour sleeper, he will probabl y sleep all night and wake up when I do. I may let him have the whole bed to night and sleep on the couch. I'm trying to convince him to take friday off and to not drive up to sac this weekend so he can rest. I honestly don't know how he was functioning, luckily they carpooled to the show so he wasn't driving. I think I'll make him scrambled eggs in the morning.

Re: Poor DH

  • awwww what a rough week! hope he doesn't get sick from working so much.

  • Oh I'm 99% sure he'll get sick around friday and hardly be able to crawl out of bed, but he doesn't think he will. I figure he's coming off hte stress and adrenaline from the weekend, but he's still working until thursday at his show so thursday afternoon will be a release to his body. Silly men, always have to be macho.
  • Wow, sounds like he's really been dedicated!  I hope all his hard work pays off!

Maybe you can make up the bed with fresh sheets and plump up the pillows for him, or bring him breakfast in bed!
