Anyone been to the Garage Billiards on Cap Hill?

DH and I were invited to a friends b-day party but we're looking at the prices for bowling or pool and it looks pretty spendy. Thoughts?

Is it worth it?

TIA

Re: Anyone been to the Garage Billiards on Cap Hill?

  • It's a fun place and they have good food. The last time we went our friends paid for the pool tables so I can't really comment on cost but we had a good time. :)
  • It's definitely not your typical cheap bowling and pool. ?But it's a fun place. ?We've celebrated multiple birthdays there and even had our rehearsal dinner there (in the private space downstairs).
  • It can be pricy but fun.  The food is pretty good, but sometimes the waitresses kind of suck (or they used to).  I used to hang out there in grad school (was there weekly) and my 10 yr HS reunion was in hte space downstairs.  Does that at all help you?
  • Thanks for the advice ladies.

Sadly we didn't end up there.  When we were almost there the birthday boy called and said that there was a 2 hour wait for lanes (duh, they only have 8, what did you expect) so we ended up at Game Works.  Ugh!  DH and I played a few lame games and bought the b-day boy some junk with our tickets!

    Thanks again!
