I saw your reply about refinancing your home.  Did they tell you about the closing costs/fees?  B/c I have a good rate but it sure isn't 3.5!  We want to sell in a couple of years so I'm not sure if it's worth us with the closing costs.

Re: Manther

  • No, we didn't discuss closing costs, but if you get on their website you can calculate closing costs, new payment, etc.  We use Third Federal.  I don't really know where they got that rate b/c the website shows 5 something.

  • The 3.5 is probably the line of credit %.  There's no way the mortgage rate is 3.5%.
  • We definitely weren't talking about a line of credit.  He might have misunderstood me, but the rate was definitely 3.5%.

  • I checked back and that is the rate that we'll get on our mortgage when the rate adjusts.  We have an ARM and it will be adjusting soon so that is for our mortgage, but not a new mortgage.  Sorry for the misunderstanding.
