Sedona Recommendations

DH and I got married in December and went on our honeymoon to San Diego during which we both came down with a horrible case of the stomach flu that lasted our whole trip and for a while when we returned home. We still had some fun but needless to say it wasn't much of a honeymoon. We had planned on making up for it later this year but recently got the unexpected opportunity to take a few days for a make-up mini-moon so we're heading off to Sedona. Since this trip was a little unexpected we're trying to make it as cost friendly as possible. I managed to find a hotel doing a special of 3 nights for the price of 2, we're planning on doing some hiking, and walking around the city including Tlaquepaque. Neither of us have been to Sedona for a long time (probably 10 years for me) so I'm not sure about what's there. Does anyone have any suggestions on affordable dining or entertainment? We'd love to do a jeep tour or something like that but at nearly $200/person most of those activities are out of the budget. Though most likely we'll just want a lot of quality hubby and wife time. ;)

Re: Sedona Recommendations

  • We did a pink Jeep tour just a few months ago and it wasn't anywhere near $200 pp-check out the sedona tourism site..I'm sure you can find some deals on there.

  • How about horseback riding?  Even if you've never ridden before, it's super easy, and usually only $40-$50 per person for an hour ride.
