Fooball food!

What's your favorite football watching food?

Are you staying in or going out this Sunday for the game?

Are you making any fun food for the game?

Nobody said life would be easy. Just that it would be worth it.

Re: Fooball food!

  • I love dips of all kinds!

Not sure if we are staying in or going to SIL house. Thats where we usually go for big games.

Probably not, but I'd really like some dip now!

  • Hands down: Papa Murphy's pizza. So. Good.

  • What's your favorite football watching food?

I love good homemade chili and other hearty soups for this time of year

Are you staying in or going out this Sunday for the game?

We normally host a superbowl party, but we have a lot going on this weekend leading up to Sunday, and with me and my pregnancy-induced narcolepsy, we thought we would just stay in with the puppy and watch the game just the two of us

Are you making any fun food for the game?

H is making his famous chili and I'm going to bake some homemade corn bread.  Nothing spectacular, but I'm looking forward to low-maintenance! :)

  • I never watch football (unless you count the passing glances as DH has it on TV) so I don't really have a fav. football watching food.. boring, I know. :)

We are staying here.. We are having a bunch of people over and they are bringing kids... I have no idea how we're going to fit, but somehow the group decided that it was going to be at our house...this should be interesting....

I actually just got back from Hy-Vee.. got stuff for a veggie tray with dip, cheese, meat, and crackers, and will probably make taco salad.  Not sure if it's great football food, but it's easy finger/potluck food.

  • 1.  Cheesy Bacon Dip, and Fountain Pepsi (I've become a big fan of that since having William)

    2.  Staying in

    3.  Cocktail weinies and Cheesy Bacon Dip and brownies.  The dip recipe is in my blog, but it won't let me link at work.

We'll see if Will lets us watch the game.  I'm hoping it gets over fast/early or we'll all be up too late.  Why can't the SB be on a Saturday night?!!  Sunday night seems so silly to me.

  • I love nachos and popcorn.

We are staying in for the game.

I think I might make us an appetizer dinner with a couple of different options.

  • I love just about any type of dip.  Oh, and wings. One of our friends makes the best wings!

I think we are going over to a friend's house for the game.  If we don't we'll go to a co-workers party.

I'm making buffalo chicken dip.  Its often referred to as crack dip on the baby boards!

  • Hot Bean Dip!  yummmm

Going to a friend's.  We usually have the party, so this will be a change.

I am bringing a taco dip and chips.

note:  This post is making me really hungry!!!!!!!!!!!

  • For sunday I am making Ribs, Hambugers, Hotdogs, Deviled Egges, Mini Twice Baked Potatoes, Chips, Chesse Cake, and Chocolate Cake. Which I think is way too much food for the 10 people that are coming over but DH thinks we need it all I think we can do without the Hambugers and Hotdogs. Oh and his cousin might bring wings too but I dont know.
  • I make a great artichoke dip, which people make fun of me for bringing to a superbowl party (that's not football food...) but it's always gone at the end of the night.

1 can artichoke hearts drained, and chopped up

    16 oz mayo

    16 oz of sour cream

1 tub of shredded parmesian cheese (By tub I mean the like 8 oz Digiorno tub in the cheese section)

1 tub of Shredded romano cheese.

Mix all that up, put in a 9x13 pan and bake at like 400 until cheese is melted and it's bubbling.  I serve with crackers, bread, veggies... and it's SO good.
