flight deal alerts?

I'm trying to track flight deals for a wedding I am in late in September. ?I can't figure out how to get email alerts. ?Am I blind?!! ?I found it on AA, but when I download it on my Mac it doesn't work. ?Have you ever got email alerts successfully? ?Did you go through the direct airline sites or use something like Orbitz, Hotwire, etc? ?Any advice? ?TIA.

Re: flight deal alerts?

  • I have mine set up through Travelocity. Every time flights to a certain place from a certain airport go below a certain dollar amount, I get an email.
  • Thanks Karen- I just went and signed up with them. ?I appreciate your help!

  • I've successfully used DING! through Southwest and have it running on both my work computer (Mac) and PC at home.

  • We've used farecast.com before and had good luck. ?You not only get lots of airline fares; you also get a forecast of when prices are expected to rise or fall. ?So far, it's always been accurate.
