BFFs - Cute PIP

image

Ringo and Tinkerbell are best friends - they cuddle and wrestle. It's quite adorable.

Re: BFFs - Cute PIP

  • Too cute!! On a couple of very rare occasions, Scamp has allowed this kind of close proximity from Zoey. I'm hoping as they get more and more used to each other, it happens more often! :) (Though, they'll never wrestle. Scamp is not into wrestling, lol)

  • Too cute.

Is he a spaniel (springer) or setter?  The fabulous temperment makes me think setter, but those perfect, doey eyes say springer :)!

Springer Spaniel. I could gush about him for hours. He's a wonderful dog. Tinkerbell is the newest addition. We also have Sidney who is a 3.5 year old domestic shorthair male who doesn't join in their cuddle sessions.

  • Awww!  For years, when H and I were dating/engaged, etc, I'd harass him about getting a Springer Spaniel (I think they're so beautiful).  Knowing that we weren't ready for a dog (space, time, etc).  So he'd always say, "Someday" to which I'd smartly reply, "Sunday?!"  Yeah, it totally wasn't funny. Anyway...

Had such a soft spot for the breed my coworker gave me a page-a-day calendar pix of a SS back in '08... I named 'him' Oliver and still have the picture in my office [yeah, sure it confuses people when I tell them it's my imaginary dog Oliver, since I now have a real dog, Lucy, but whatevs ;)].

Ultimately, when we were ready for a dog, we rescued an English Setter, which typically, I wasn't so mad keen on appearance-wise.  However, Lucy's converted me :).  I think "Oliver" will always just be a picture for me now, but I still do think SS are so, so lovely!  So gush away!!

  • Precious! I love it!

The dogs love it when Napoleon grooms their face. He makes the ugliest expression like the dogs don't taste good, but he keeps licking.
