Question about the Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest (No Spoilers Pls)

I have read the first two in the series and I really enjoyed them BUT I am scared to read the third. Does it leave you with a cliffhanger like the Girl Who Played with Fire? If so, I am just not sure I can read it knowing there aren't any more books!!!! Also, it has been a while since I read GWPWF, do I need a refrresher?

Re: Question about the Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest (No Spoilers Pls)

  • This might not be a lot of help but...I've started the third book. I'm having a really hard time getting into it. I've heard it gets better, but I'm struggling. I haven't heard about the ending though, and am curious about a cliffhanger too.

I thought I heard something the other day about a possible fourth book?

  • Nope, not a cliffhanger, thank god!

I read them pretty much one right after the other, and the only thing that might be hard is all the names of cops and all that, remembering who all the secondary characters are.

    ITA with this.

  • I agree with Lauren, too.  The third book picks up pretty much exactly where the second book ended, so there's not really any refresher provided.

QFT. I'm 30% or so through it and fighting the urge to find a white board and make some notes or something.

I heard this rumor, too.  Apparently, Larsson's long-time partner and his family are in a feud over his estate and his partner will not/cannot publish his last manuscript unless she is given the rights to the Millennium series.

Yea, I read an article about this. I guess they used to write together a lot, so she would like to continue the story, but she's fighting his family now... something about the rights going to them when he died I think.
