Job advice, WWYD?

Tuesday was two weeks since my interview for dream job. They said 1-2 weeks wait time before getting back to me. So should I call or email to see what is going on? Who should I contact HR or the Department head? In my interview, they said HR would contact me. I hate the waiting game. TIA ladies!

  • I would email HR tomorrow morning if you don't hear anything today. You never know -  the day's only half over!

    Waiting SUCKS SOOOO MUCH.

  • Agreed, except I would call, not email. Slightly more personal touch and these days so few people make phone calls, making one seems like you're putting thought and effort into it even though I think it takes less time than typing out an email.
We have so much time, and so little to do! Strike that, reverse it.

  • Definitely call...and definitely HR.  I would NOT contact the department head or interviewer.  The recruiting lead/HR is the person that is going to handle the details behind your offer, so that is the person you'll want to call.
