Charter Schools

Does anyone have their kids in a charter school? If so where they on a waiting list and for how long?

My DD is about to start kindergarten and I want her to go to the best possible school I can get her into. (Don't we all? Big Smile) I'm so nervous, I can't believe my baby is going to elementary!!!!

Re: Charter Schools

  • Out of curiosity, why are you choosing a charter over a public or private school?
  • The few charter schools near me are actually A+ schools. They also have a 18 to 1 teacher student ratio unlike the public schools that have at least 25 to 1. The public schools are good but the charter schools have a private school feel to them even though they are also public.
