It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia - spoilers

Ugh. I was not too impressed with tonight's episode.

Some of the fantasies were funny ... I was laughing hysterically when Mac was in the bathroom with the ostrich ... but I'm SO disappointed that they've created a "Dee's pregnant" storyline.

Pregnancies and babies in sitcoms really don't seem to go over that well, it seems. I just hope this doesn't make the show suddenly start to go downhill.

What do you think she's going to do with the baby? Keep it, have someone adopt it, or will there be some kind of wacky scheme?

And who's the father? The married guy she was sleeping with, or maybe she's continuing on that idea from a few seasons ago about getting paid to be a surrogate? (Thank goodness it wasn't Dennis! Ick!)

Re: It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia - spoilers

  • Haha I was dying during the ostrich part! I thought this whole episode was pure hilarity.

I'm happy with the Dee pregnancy storyline. She was actually pregnant (with her hubby, the dude who plays Mac's baby), and I hate when shows try to hide people behind large objects or send them on random trips for multiple episodes. At least they're letting it all hang out here. I'm sure they'll do something funny with it.

  • I thought they were going to stick with Mac being the father, which I thought was cute since he really IS :P

I also smiled when Charlie made out with the waitress in his fantasy, because it's his real wife.

I love how Dee just kept turning more and more into a bird in everyone's fantasy. Who was the one who imagined her wearing a costume beak and cawing, Artemeis? That cracked me up.

Haha I agree with all of this. Well, I also liked the idea of Charlie being the dad because c'mon, wtf, Charlie as a dad. That would be kind of amazing to witness.

I love when the waitress is on and she's so hateful toward him and you remember that they're married. Same with Mac and Dee.

They're all so terrible to Dee, haha.

"It's fatness, plain and simple. A person becoming fat before your very eyes."

  • I thought the ostrich in the bathroom was seriously hilarious, too.

I'm not sure what will happen with the baby. I also hate when sitcoms introduce babies because the shows always tend to go way downhill.  But I'm thinking the show will have some sort of storyline where Dee doesn't actually keep the baby. We'll see, I  guess.
