Green Mountain Inn

In Stowe. Has anyone ever stayed there? My H just booked a weekend in January for my birthday. Just wondering what others' experiences were like.

Re: Green Mountain Inn

  • I've never stayed there but I looked at it for my wedding.  Being in town will be nice...Have fun!

  • This inn is fantastic!!! We stayed in a luxury room with a jacuzzi and gas fireplace. The staff is wonderful and very attentive. They really want you to enjoy every aspect of your stay. Every afternoon there is tea, cider and cookies, and once a week a wine and beer tasting - both are free. The heated pool was very nice, especially with snow falling all around at night. It's within walking distance to many great stores and restaurants. Such a great winter getaway, very relaxing!

  • I live in stowe and it is very romantic! Foxfire Inn for a great italian dinner, Rusty nail for a night of dancing and the matterhorn for sushi. Hike the pinnacle! It is a moderate 2 mile hike with an awesome view. Be sure to dress warm and to rent snowwhoes from umiak outfitters..Have a great time!
