Pibble lovers please come in

I've had a wicked bad day and have been looking at CL.  Probably not the best combo.

There was this post:

Which was responded to by this post:

I know the poster is spewing bad info about pit bulls.  I hadn't had much exposure to the breed until my cat got really sick.  The vet I took her to had a lot of pibble patients.  During the hardest days, the pibbles always made me smile and gave me love that helped me through.

I'm still a newbie in my education about pit bulls.  I've learned a lot from Pesties.  Could any of you help the first poster out?  I don't want to start trouble but I can't stand to see the stereotype propagated by the 2nd poster go unanswered.

TIA....
