Since we're bored

I play the powerball more often than not and always hope just to win the 5 numbers, not the grand prize.  As great as the millions would be, I'd be quite happy with the $200K.  What would you realistically do with that much money?  (I think after taxes it would only be about $120K so I always work with that number...)

Re: Since we're bored

  • I would:

1.) pay off existing debt, student loans, etc. of mine and DH ($20K)

    2.) down payment on a house ($50K)

    3.) buy a new car ($25K)

4.) initial stuff for new house ($10K)

    5.) savings ($15K)

Isn't it sad how quickly that imaginary money is gone?

  • Pay off debt

    Down payment for a house

    We might get new cars

ETA: Scratch the might, we would get at least one new car and I'd want to save a lot so we could then start TTC a year earlier =)
