  • Condoms and I definitely don't love it.  But the mini pill made me a crazy woman and we decided not to throw down a bunch of money on an IUD when DH plans to get a vasectomy soon anyway.
  • Ortho Tricyclen Lo. I've been on it for years now and really like it. Aside from the whole not-wanting-kids thing, I also like how I can control the monthlies if needbe, skipping it altogether if I want. I always hated the inconvenience of it...I swear, I wanted a hysterectomy when I was 16. ;)
  • I was last on Nuva ring.... The only side effect I had was a low sex drive.  Other than that, fabulous!
  • Nuvaring. Love it!

  • I was on NuvaRing before we decided to try for baby.  I loved it.
  • Been on Yaz for several years now. Don't love it, don't hate it either.

  • NFP mostly. If I'm paying attention that month... lol. Most of the time, "pull and pray" as Dani likes to say Wink
  • The pill and I've never had any of the possible side effects or anything so I love it!
  • None right now, but I used to take Apri (the generic for Desogen), and I really liked it! ?It is monophasic, so it is easier to skip a period if need be.

I used to take Ortho Tricyclen Lo, but I felt like it made me irritable, and I gained weight. ?Also, since it is triphasic (has 3 different hormone levels), it is more difficult to skip a period. ?Some people don't have problems, but I spotted a lot. ?

  • Right now I'm on Yaz.  I definitely notice a difference.  I don't cry and scream erracticly anymore.  I've been on Ortho Lo, Yasmin, Ortho, and I think one other but I can't remember.  I like being able to skip a period if need be (like this month).  I'm slightly worried about TTC later since I've been on the pill since I was 19.

  • I'm also on Yaz. I started out on Yasmin, but then switched to this when it came out. I don't like it or dislike it. It does it's job. Ha.
  • Loestrin, b/c it is the lowest estrogen pill on the market. Never gained weight or had acne probs like some birth control pills. Highly suggest it, no "crazy" side effects. Big Smile
  • I'm on Mirena (IUD) and I love it.  I've had it for 6 months now and no problems whatsoever.  It's hormone free and I was able to bf while on it.  I still haven't had a period though, which is nice and also kinda scary, LOL.
  • None - I thought about it after JJ was born, but I told H I didn't want to go on the pill and that he'd have to suck it up and use condoms for a little bit. I'm not a big fan - at all - of condoms, but it does what it's supposed to, so until we're ready to TTC again, they'll be in our lives. I'm considering Mirena after we have our second one.

  • none. condoms and PNP. :)

I tried BC while we lived in WA because it's free, but I had too many side effects. The IUD and nuvaring things scare me.

  • Not on the pill because I am one of those crazy people who developed a blood clot while on bc.  So all bc with estrogen or progestren is out.  And tmi, I am allergic to latex so we have to use lambskin condoms.  Its fun times being me lol.

  • I spent the money for Mirena but my insurance gave me the money back. We are waiting about 3 to 4 years until we try for another baby. I was on the nuvaring before we got pregnant and I liked alot. But I figured up how much I paid a month for BC and the Mirena was alot cheaper in the long run.

No reason to be scared of the NuvaRing.  Your cervix will stop it from going too far.  But I do hear that some men can feel it so you might want to tell them its their or not depending on what you think their reaction might be.

It can be removed for a few hours as well.

i take Ortho Tricyclen Lo. It's okay. I gained a little weight but I don't know if it was because of changes in my eating or because of the medicine.
