Does it look stupid? Need Advice

So after my blogs got stolen last week I have been thinking about what I can do to try and protect myself. And I remembered how photographers add their name on top of pictures. So can you please go into my blog and check out my lastest post and see if you think my "watermark" looks stupid or if it looks ok.

I know it does not make me 100% safe of being stolen since they can just crop out that part of the picture if they really want to....at least it might help a little...

TIA :-)

  • I like it! I actually like it better than without!
  • I think it's a great idea, however, from a photographer's point of view, you want your "watermark" to go through a part of your picture. If you're just putting it in a corner, it can very easily be cropped or photoshopped out. I hope that watermarking will help from people taking your blog pictures.
  • I really dont want to jeopardize the picture of the food by having my name go across the middle of it. So I guess if someone wants to take it and crop it and what not whatever I cant do much...

  • I like it! I think it will help stop people from taking your pics. They may be ale to crop it out but it will take a lot more work.

    I love my crazy child!

I think this is your best bet.  I could crop your name out in a matter of seconds on any photo editing software.  I think someone posted a link to a website that talked about how to add the watermark.  I think if you really want to protect it then you will need to use the watermark.
