Did you make the cake balls?  How did they turn out?

I was feeling domestic and decided to make some over the weekend.  I went by the recipe Pioneer Woman has on her site.  It's basically the same as the one you posted, but it's more detailed step-by-step (which is what I need!).  I did red velvet with cream cheese frosting and coated half of them in milk chocolate and half in white chocolate.  They were SO yummy!  I told DH to take the majority with him to work because we do not need that many tempting us every time we open the fridge!

Here is how they turned out:

  • :::butting in:::

    Those look divine! Yummers!

  • WOW those look SO good!! I might have to try that!
  • That looks awesome!!!

    I did make some this weekend and they turned out really well. I did a chocolate cake and chocolate frosting and dipped them in white chocolate. I added a little mint flavoring to about half of the batch. They were yummy! I took them to work and have requests for various flavors. It was a little time consuming but I had fun making them.

    Yours look prettier than mine. I got tired of dipping them in the chocolate at the end. :)

  • I have to give credit to DH because he helped with the dipping and drizzling.  The first few we did were not very nice looking.
