Re: Happy Friday!

  • I'm plodding through Religion and the Decline of Magic by Keith Thomas. It's very dense and very long. I'm enjoying it, mostly, but my brain wants lighter fare and I have a bunch of holds at the library I keep hoping will come in so I can switch to that instead. I have guilt because I've been dying to read this books for years and now I keep putting it off!

  • I am doing a reread of Shadow and Bone. Well, the whole Grisha series actually. I haven't read Ruin & Rising yet and I have Six of Crows on my bookshelf thanks to @julie37619. :) I am also reading Some Sort of Happy by Melanie Harlow. I had some serious doubts about this one for the first chapter or so, but once I got to Sebastian, I got into it. I'm about 1/2 way done with it.

  • I'm really hoping to finish 'Asking for It' this weekend.  I'm really enjoying it, I just have no motivation to read.  I'm also working on 'Bellagrand' by Paullina Simons.  I only have to read four more books to hit my reading goal so I really need to knock these two out.

  • I'm reading Indexing: Reflections by Seanan Maguire (sp?) and loving it.

I'm also listening to Mindy Kaling's new book on audio. I've never watched her shows, but I'm enjoying her stories a lot.

I'm on hold for this at the library. I enjoyed her first book.
