NBR: spelling/grammar help

"Violative" is a word, right?  The sentence I'm using it in says something like "on appeal, the court must review the findings of fact to determine that they were not arbitrary, capricious, or otherwise violative of the administrative procedures act."

MS Word is underlining it as a spelling error and won't let me add it to my dictionary.  When I google, I get online dictionary definitions of it as an adjective, defined exactly the way I'm using it.  But Grammerly also doesn't recognize it.  I also notice that TN is underlining it as a spelling error.  What gives?
