Sherlock's homecoming! [PIP]

Sherlock came home with us last night and he is the perfect little friend! As soon as we opened the door to his cat carrier, out he came to explore EVERYTHING! He meowed a lot and we talked back to him and just sat on the couch in the basement (his 'safe room') until he was ready to come over and see us. Only about 5 minutes after we got home he jumped right up on DH's lap and started purring. Then he would go eat, and then continue exploring, and then cuddle and repeat. He is the most lovable and snuggly kitty I have ever known!

Last night while DH was petting him and he was sitting on DH's lap, I picked up each paw and quickly clipped his nails. H wasn't even holding him and he didn't try to pull away or leave or anything. When I went down there this morning after waking up I sat on the couch and Sherlock jumped right up with me and started purring and 'head butting me' because I wasn't giving him just enough loving :)

He's so freaking sweet and I am going to be very sad to spend the day away from him at work! I love our little guy and I am so happy that he is now in his forever home.

He's already eaten, had water, scratched in his scratching mat (but has no interest whatsoever in the sisal post... even with catnip) and has used the litter box.
