Laurell Hamilton

Any thoughts on her series??

Re: Laurell Hamilton

  • You mean Anita Blake?

I've read both Anita and Merry Gentry and have liked them both.  They are both definitely hot and heavy, especially in the latter half of the Anita series.  A lot of the plots get hidden by sex, but if you don't mind that then you will probably enjoy them.  It took me until book 3 in the Anita Series (Circus of the Damned) to really get LKH's writing style, but once you get it, it works.

  • Yes, Anita Blake. Good to know.  I will put those on my TBR list!

  • I really liked the Anita Blake series up to about 8 books in, and then it got to be more about sex and less about the plot, which bothered me.  But I thought the first books were wonderful!
