Re: Invite in Facebook Status

  • Wow... mass invite mentioning gifts?  Hmm.
    Daisypath Wedding tickers
  • I had a girl do this OFTEN while she was pregnant.  Constant mentions of gifts and where she was registered.  Tacky.

  • Klassy.

  • Not only do you have to invite yourself but you have to feed yourself too. Truly DIY.
  • Hosting your own shower?  Check.

    Soliciting your own gifts?  Check.

Bring your own food (so you're certain there will be seven boxes of prepackaged cookies from Publix bakery and three taco dips)?  Check.

RSVP... maybe if you get a chance... by sometime.

  • Lovely. Their child will be on TheKnot in 25 years (who am I kidding, probably 17-18 for this kid) asking about including registry info (or requests for cash) in their invites as well as whether or not it's ok to invite some to the (free) ceremony but not the reception. Yes

  • ditto to everything pp's said. But what's especially weird to me is that this is a status - there's no guarantee people will even see it. Facebook is weird about which statuses it puts in people's news feeds.
