what are some good hotels in Columbus?

We're from CO and coming to Columbus for a night and looking for a cute, nice. clean, hotel that is in a nice little neighborhood and 2 year old friendly. Any suggestions??

Re: what are some good hotels in Columbus?

  • I am from KY but we will be staying in Columbus overnight for a mini vaca soon. We have a 5 year old we will be taking with us.  I have decided on Embassy Suites of Columbus-Dublin. It has a good rating/reviews and looks really nice.
  • We moved to Columbus from California in 2009.  When we flew out here to house hunt, we stayed at the Crowne Plaza downtown (on Nationwide Boulevard).  The price was very reasonable, and the hotel was quite nice.  We stayed on the top floor.  Downtown Columbus isn't terribly interesting or "happening," but this hotel is just a few blocks from Short North, where there are tons of restaurants, shops, and attractions.  We adore Short North and find ourselves there a lot.
  • Try a bed and breakfast in German Village!
  • Tons of restaurants & things to do in the Easton & Polaris Areas.
