gay army wife

My wife and I just got married in Feb and now she is being pcs to hawaii. Any other "gay" military families with ideas support and just willing to talk and share stories please respond

Re: gay army wife

  • Congratulations and welcome. This board has kind of died out. If you follow the link at the top to the LGBT parents board on the bump there are a lot more people there. Not everyone over there are parents or planning to be parents... just easier access for people who have the nest blocked at work, but not the bump.

    come join everyone over there.

  • My wife is a civilian contractor with the department of defense.  She is currently overseas. Like cymru said, we're all over on the Bump side of things.  Feel free to join us there or start up threads here and I'll try to come back and chat with you.  Welcome!

  • So, I accidentally clicked on this board, but I saw the post title and was curious since I'm a mil spouse.  I'm not gay, but I am in Hawaii, and I was involved with the first GSA ever at a DOD school.  We even tried to start up a PFLAG overseas, but it just wasn't going to happen despite support from fairly high up both in PFLAG and SLDN.  PM if you want contact information.  I've only been on the island a couple weeks, but it helps to have an ally in the crazy world of the military.
