My clit keeps throbbing!

Ok ladies,

I don't know if it's due to the fact that I'm now almost 32, because I've heard that when ladies go through their 30's they hit their sexual prime, but I'm thinking that's what it must be.

My sex drive has gone through the roof in the last 6 months, and I cannot get enough. I started noticing that my clit (sorry if this is TMI) would start like pulsing or throbbing at random moments throughout the day. I would feel the oh-so-famous rush of heat down there, and I would have to either grab hubs and make my way to the bedroom, or I would have to head there solo. I'm not complaining, believe me! I guess I just don't understand what is truly causing this. Since this has happened, I've become multi-orgasmic.....I'm talking 4-5 within 5 minutes. I'm just wondering if this has been the case with anyone else. I'm sure it has, but it's not a topic I would feel free to just bring up anywhere, with just anyone, ya know?!!

I seriously feel like I'm becoming addicted to sex. My husband has said that I'm wearing him out, and I KNOW this is not usually the case. Usually what I read is the woman is the one who is being bombarded sexually by her husband. I have an appt. with my doc next week, to address this specific issue, but I'm just wondering if this is the norm?

Re: My clit keeps throbbing!

  • well, good news.  there is no normal.  many women have stronger sexual desire than their male counterparts.  in fact, that very topic was discussed yesterday in a blog post.  here's the link.

by the way, from personal experience, if it's good in your 30's, hold on for dear life in your 40's.  it just keeps getting better.

     best,

  • You're scaring me. I have a super-duper high sex drive now (im 23) ... and youre telling me its going to get more intense? I better prepare my husband! Hehehe better buy some stronger batteries so I don't make him feel too used!
  • I might be just a tad bit jealous..  I'm 35 and have no sex drive whatsoever..  I keep thinking it's going to hit anytime.  And my hubby keeps hoping too, but nothing.
  • hooch, sex drive comes and goes and comes back again.  wishing you the best in the future.
  • Oh my I totally see you on that one. For me, It was a little earlier, about 27. I would feel eh same thing. If I was sitting on a puffy couch, the material thickness would rub near the clitoris and get me horny. It was so easy. My car has a sport exhaust on it and don;t even get me started on how the added rumble of the car when I accelerate does for me.. That's hilarious!

Enjoy the feel, don;t try to hide it. Duck away and pleasure yourself because it;s only natural to feel this way and why not "express" what your clitoris is telling you? Get the most of your sexuality, I say.
    I've got this vibrator here

It's super tiny so all you need to do is hold it over your clitoris when you feel this sensation of throbbing and you're really ion for a treat. There's nothing wrong with enjoying the feel. I've relished this because in a few years, the throbbing will stop when your sexual peak goes away so I say take full advantage of it while it's here. Enjoy!

In what I am learning, sex health is tied to physical and mental health. Perhaps, there is something else going on with you mentally or physically that is blocking that sexual power you have inside. Try learning a breathing technique. When you inhale, fill your belly with air to where it expands. When you exhale, let it all out and watch your belly empty with that air. Try doing that in 10 seconds so slow, deep breathing. Try to clear out what is stressing you out and do this in a room with just you and your thoughts.

Another hint? when in the shower and the hot water is beating on you, turn around and let the hot water hit the upper part of your bottom. (in between the small in the back and the top of the crack of your bum) Do this for about a couple of seconds.

A hard man is good to find. Hope this helps for you! If not, seek out your gyne to see if there is anything wrong "down there". 35 should be a great time to unleash the fury on hubby!

    Good luck!

Congrats!! Now all you have to do is find a way for hubby to keep up!

  • I'm 32 as well.  My drive isn't this high, but it's definitely increased since my late 20's.  My cycle also regulated like clockwork, which thrilled my obgyn.

    Congrats and enjoy.

  • You are right. The 40's are pretty intense!  I wanted to comment on the gal comments about constant spasms. I'm having the same problem right now and I just turned 49.  I don't know whether to be happy it's doing it or be concerned.  It's pretty constant and been doing it for like a week now. So, it doesn't matter what age you are.
