8 tubes of SoftLips . . .

32 milk rings

40 tops from bottles of contact solution

$1.06

I just pulled these out of the cat's toy box (the bunny was nomming on one of the three zip-strips that come off of a mailing box) and counted them up.

Who says you need to buy toys for cats?  Just let them steal stuff from you and they'll be happy as can be.  : )

Re: 8 tubes of SoftLips . . .

  • see, there ARE graveyards where milkrings go to die.

There's one under the rug I"m sitting on right now--periodically we get annoyed at stepping on another lump and we roll back the rug to sweep a few dozen out.

    Oh, definitely!

When we realize all of the cat toys have gone MIA, we sweep out underneath the stove.  That's where they all seem to end up these days!

  • I once found about 30 scrunchies behind a piece of furniture when I moved it.  I knew I was having to replace them a lot.  The cat has better "saving" habits than I do!

  • This cracks me up!  Yesterday Oreo decided that all of the pens falling out of my school bag were way more fun than the new toys we got for her for Christmas.  Maybe I'll have to try scrunchies next.

We keep a wrapping paper tube on hand to sweep out under the chairs in the living room.

And I am jealous that you can still have milk rings.Sad

  • I moved the couch to vacuum last night and I found all kinds of goodies - cat and dog related. Half an antler, some toy mice, some hair ties, a red plastic string thing that opens a block of cheese, one of Napoleon's bug toys, a tennis ball (WTF?). Everything except the squirrels' hidey hole. That's still MIA.

Maybe this is a sign I should move the couch more often.
