I tend to follow a "no light colors below the knee" rule in winter.
I see them a lot though and don't think they look especially odd. I guess as long as you're wearing a darker tan khaki and not the almost white ones it would be fine and I wouldn't think it looks out of place.
no. i don't really wear them anyway. khakis are kind of dated.
I have never hear of that rule. But I have a rule that is "no khakis EVER"
I really just don't like khakis on me.
SuMmErKuTiE:I've never heard of this rule and wear khakis year round regardless of what color shirt I'm wearing. Just pair them black or brown shoes that are appropriate for the weather outside.

I dont wear khakis at all. They remind me of my high school uniforms
