Recipe help

I want to make this tonight http://www.tuscanrecipes.com/recipes/olive-garden-zuppa-toscana.html

The recipe calls for water and bullion cubes.  Can I just substitute chicken broth for the 10 cups it calls for or would that be too much broth?  Would I need to do half broth half water?

Re: Recipe help

  • I make that exact recipe a LOT (well, a lot for me).  I always use bullion and water though so I can't answer your question.  It's delicious!
I don't want to be on MSNBC, yo.
  • If you have 10 cups of broth, go for it.

I go the opposite way.  I never have broth on hand, but I always have boullion, so I just sub it cup for cup.

  • I *think* I have that much broth, but I never use boullion.  I need to go to the store to get most of the stuff anyway so I can pick some more up.

Gracie - I love this soup when we go out.  I hope mine turns out

  • I think broth would be fine. I use broth in almost everything and never have bullion handy.
