I need help

I got a dress for the wedding. Sorry about the pic but it's from my phone and I can't find it on the Macy's website. I swear it fits, the one in the pic was too big. But the one I bought fits like a glove. Anyway, hair ideas? I want to kind of play down the dress, I was thinking maybe a french twist?

Re: I need help

  • French twist would go good.  Love the dress btw.
  • Cute!  That color is pretty.

    How long is your hair?

ETA: And are you doing it yourself or at a salon?

Just touches the top of my shoulders.

    Yes

  • I'm a big fan of elegant low updos.

Hopefully I'll be doing this for my bro's wedding:

  • I'll keep poking around for pictures.  I like the chignon style.

  • I agree, something up but still low would be nice. A french twist would be great. And the dress is phenomenal!
  • The dress is perfect for a ball too if we go to another one.

  • I think a twist would be great.  You could also do one of the messy up do's.

The top one is what I did for the wedding! And BEB, if you're trying to play down the dress how about doing a half up, half down style but curling the ends and such? I do love the twist idea since the dress is so formal.

I thought about that too but would it look weird since my hair is short?

I don't think so. I've seen it done with short hair, a good friend of mine did it for her wedding and it was adorable. I don't know how short your hair is but something like this?

If you want I can PM you with a pic of my friends hair since hers was much, much cuter than the pic I found.

  • A twist would look pretty but I also agree with Red that half up half done would look be pretty too.

I would do less curl if you do this but this is how I wore mine for the wedding.
