Anyone in the Bentonville/Rogers/Fayetteville area?

Hi Ladies: I'm a nestie from Detroit. My husband is interviewing for a job in Bentonville next week. Does anyone know anything about the area and what it's like? I'd like to have some feel for it in case we move there! Thanks!

  • Hi there- I live in Bella Vista and my husband works in Bentonville. I'd be more than happy to tell you about the area or answer any questions you might have! I'm never on the boards anymore but feel free to email me:

  • I'm in Fayetteville.  I really post more on the March 2010 board, so page me there if you need anything.  The area is really nice.  Each town offers something a little different, so I would come for a few days before buying anything to figure out which area is for you.  It is super easy to travel from one to the other for work.  We go from town to town to shop, eat, play, work, everything.

This area is growing and has lots of opportunities and fun stuff to do!  I mean, it's no huge city like Detroit, but I think you would like it.  Most people I know that moved here from big cities really love the area.

  • NWA is one of the country's fastest growing areas.  It's a great place to live.  The area is a great mix of creature comforts and nature, with lakes and mountains just miles away from malls and shopping centers.  Life is a little slower, and the people are very nice!  We live in Fayetteville, and we couldn't imagine anywhere better.  Plus DH commutes to B'ville for work.  Feel free to PM with any questions!
