Can you bake a cake in corningware?

Hey ladies!

I have a minor problem, my recipe calls for a 13x9 in. cake pan and i don't have one, it can't be a layer cake so, my rounds won't work.  i do have a corningware casserole (you know the white ones)   that is close to the right size so, wondering if anyone has used these for baking.  obviously, i use it in the oven all the time, just not for cake.  thanks!

  • i don't see why not!    it'd be just like baking in a glass casserole.
Brought to you by IVF, ICSI, limited fert, and oocyte cryopreservation.
    Because we're fancy like that.
