Re: Are you sick of the rain?

  • I am definitely sick of it, but I try and remember that come dry season I will be praying for rain. The past two years we've had fires within 1 mile of us. This year it was the next street over. So not fun! I'm not sure when it ends though...I think sept-ish.

  • I usually like the summer rain, but only when there are truly impressive storms (we didn't have lightning in San Francisco, where I grew up).  Just plain rain isn't all that fun :(

  • YES!! We've had an abnormal amount of rain this summer.  It's very odd.  It's typical for it to rain every day...but usually only for an hour or so, not the ENTIRE day.   I thought we lived in the Sunshine State?  I'm starting to doubt that....
  • Yes! But then I tell myself that we desperately need the rain because its been so dry the past few years. It sucks though because you can't plan anything outdoors since it rains at all times of the day.
