Beebee is as beebee does: the Jonas Bros wedding...

The NY Post reported there was no food -- there was a huge blizzard that weekend (Most of Long Island was wiped out and hit hard) and I am guessing nothing else was ready to be served.

 ================================================

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- The first photo of Kevin Jonas and Danielle Deleasa's December 19 wedding has been released.

In their first official wedding photo, published on the cover of People magazine, Kevin wore a custom Brooks Brothers tuxedo with a bow tie, while his blushing bride wore an elegant strapless gown from Vera Wang.

"I've never seen a more beautiful bride," Kevin said of his ladylove.

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, the two tied the knot earlier this month on the East Coast, despite a blizzard.

According to People, the wedding, which was held at Oheka Castle in Huntington, New York, had a fairy tale theme and included a castle and an enchanted forest.

Kevin also gave his bride glass slippers in her size.

"I knew that my princess needed her glass slippers and her castle," Kevin told the mag.

"I always wanted my wedding to have that princess feel," Danielle added. "I couldn't have imagined this."

And the wedding was very much a family affair. Kevin Jonas Sr., the JoBros patriarch, who is an ordained minister, officiated the ceremony alongside Danielle's pastor Reverend Ron DePasquale Jr.

Danielle's dad, Thomas "Bucky" Deleasa, walked his daughter down the aisle to "Bella Notte" from "Lady and the Tramp," the mag reported.

Ick!Ick!Ick! Ick! Did she wear a tiara, too?

Anyone really seriously believe he was a virgin?  Talk about a freaky bad wedding night...

  • She's from somewhere in Morris County, NJ -- I'm surprised they didn't have the ceremony out there somewhere.

Didn't he meet her on a vacay with family or something?

Kevin Jonas' I Do at Oheka Castle in Long Island was in a white tent with more flowers -- white roses, white chrysanthemums, white orchids -- than for John Gotti's funeral. And with glorious crystal beads that looked like snowflakes hanging from birch trees. The 6-foot elaborate cake bore a crown at the top. Bride Danielle Deleasa wore Vera Wang. Female invitees were given Dolce and Gabbana pashmina shawls to protect from the chill. All invitees such as Joey Fatone and "American Idol" finalist Jordin Sparks received picture frame mementos bearing their names.

The Jersey Boys and Christian rocker Michael W. Smith performed. Heartthrob Joe Jonas brought a date. Nick Jonas did not. There is no press release information since it's a People magazine's exclusive Dec. 30 cover story.

The wedding was glorious but, barring hors d'oeuvres, many went foodless. By 10:30, still no dinner. It brings me back to when Sen. Alfonse D'Amato married Katuria. That was also at Oheka and my table was alongside Sen. Joe Biden's and by 10:45, having already vacuumed up even the rolls at Biden's table, a bunch of us left. This must be the Oheka way of lavish catering. I only know I ended up with Ritz crackers in my kitchen.

As for the Jonas Brother nuptial, some guests were still on the highway inching home foodless behind snow ploughs and cop cars at 2 a.m.

     HAPPY Christmas, everyone . . . I'm going to entertain Santa with a few days' snooze . . .

And a beebee reply from the feedback from that article, all shook up about the "fabricated" info Cindy Adams reported about in the article:

the wedding did have a dinner. it was in other places. i don't know where the nypost gets their info but they might wanna get it right. And who would Joe's date be? I thought he was single. I mean he's been on tour. Sorry but I don't believe the NY Post's Page Six.

angelsong1 12/28/2009 10:04 PM It is the girls parents that though the wedding (tradition), and all he really needed to do was be dressed, be there on time and have the ring. So, this girl and her mother didnt think the dinner might be an important part of people leaving home to be bothered with people you dont know(family)or people you cant stand (family), and giving you gifts/money. If you are not going to do it right( or if you are just broke), let his parents pay for it or tell them to elope.

This is no class at all.......

  • Is there more back-story to this or am I missing something? I haven't really been in the loop on this.

I mean the whole princess theme isn't really my thing, but it doesn't bother me that someone would want that.

As for the food, it seems like there's no confirmation that there was or wasn't food served.

    I'm honestly just curious.

  • ...I just threw up a bit in my mouth
  • I didn't think it was going to get any worse when I read this: "ladylove"

    But a glass slipper? Seriously?

Somebody knock me out until Perez Hilton reports their divorce please?

  • Is it just me, or do glass slippers sound incredibly uncomfortable to be wearing all day?

    I changed my name
  • I went to a wedding there recently.  It's gorgeous and we had plenty of food.  I know you're only allowed to use caterers from an approved list.  Not sure that rule applies if you're a Jonas Brother though.

  • To each their own.  I think it's kind of cute that he presented her with glass slippers if she wanted a princess theme.

One of the local radio stations were saying how he commented after getting married that he didn't see what the big deal was about waiting for sex and that it wasn't all that special...um ok?

  • The whole thing is too damn cutesy for me. I'm not sure which is worse, the glass slipper or the Lady and the Tramp thing.
  • OMG, this article is hysterical!

"I knew that my princess needed her glass slippers and her castle,"

    BARF.

    Yes Glass slippers? Really?
  • The Disney overtones are incredible!  I guess he's a really good employee.
  • Glass slippers are one thing, but going down the aisle to a cheesy Italian song from LADY AND THE TRAMP, the high point of which is two dogs sharing a noodle, is completely ridiculous.

That's like something an 8 year old would come up with as being soooo romantic.
