I want to make this for some people we're having over to dinner next week.
I'm a bit worried about the making of the tamales though! It's not something I've ever done before and it seems like it might be hard! Does anyone know if you can buy dried corn husks at a Mexican grocery store perhaps?
Also, I want to make a curried sweet potato and chestnut soup for the appetizer and then pumpkin creme brulee for dessert. Will that all go together do you think? These people are huge foodies so I don't want to disappoint!
Edit: I think I might just make these instead of the tamales. Same flavors, but less hassle!
