Re: Sweetest but saddest story from DM News

  • Oh my, that is sad-but inspiring.  Some of those pictures are heart-wrenching!
  • This broke my heart =(

I believe there is a girl on D&R who is in a very similar situation. I am not positive on the details. Her SN is DairyGirl and a lot of people have her in their T&P.

  • Thanks for sharing this story but there should have been a more severe warning as to the gut-wretching saddness to this story...
  • My Mom told me about this over the weekend... so so so so sad.  I really respect the decision that they made though.  When I get home from work I am going to watch the video... with tissues...
  • Based on the replies I'm not even going to go look.

  • One of my friends posted this on Facebook over the weekend and I watched in tears last night. It especially hits home for me seeing that we could have very well been faced with the same decision as our little one that we lost back in January likely had Trisomy 18. A very sad and touching story, but definitely one worth watching IMO. What a brave couple they were and as I watched the video, you could almost feel the overwhelming love that they had for their little Thomas during his short time with them.
  • Seeing what that baby had to suffer through makes me sad, I wish the parents all the best with their daughter.
