Annoyed...

Good morning! So, I had a cocktail party to go to last weekend and of course couldn't decide on a dress. I bought 4 and on Sunday returned the 3 I didn't wear. I had bought them on two different days, all at Dillards, so I had 2 returns. One of the returns posted immediately on Sunday...and the other one (the larger amount of course!) has yet to post. I'm irritated!!!! I did save the sales and return receipts, so I guess I can always go up there and talk to customer service.?

Sometimes, I am just not patient.

  • Is this the Norman Dillards? The same thing happened to me at Best Buy with a PS3.
  • It's the Penn location. Did it just take awhile to post or did you have to go talk to them to resolve it?
  • This happened to me at the Penn Dillards with a set of sheets. It took 6 days to get my credit, made me very mad, it was over $150.00. American Express usually takes longer though than some cards.
  • How long did they say it would take? Maybe you could call the c.card company- do they have the credit, just not posted to your account yet?

  • They didn't give me a timeline...I wish I'd have asked though. It is my debit card, and it isn't listed as pending. Yet the second return, same store, same day has already credited to the same account. Weird...

    That sucks.  Can you call since its on your debit card and ask whats up?

    I would give it a few days.

    I once returned something to Walmart (yuck, rarely go there) and I asked for it to be put back on my card. The girl rang it up as cash and never gave me the cash.  I don't know if she scammed me or it was an accident.
