Couple's wedding shower in Feb

We're hosting a couple's wedding shower the first weekend in Feburary.  Does anyone have any ideas for themes, decorations, food, games, etc.  Should we do any games at all?  The invite list is mostly the bride and grooms family (including kids).  I'm just having a hard time deciding on a theme for decoration for Feb.  Any ideas?

Re: Couple's wedding shower in Feb

  • If you are talking about "traditional" shower games, no, I don't think you should do them. To keep the guys interested, make it more like a regular party and less like a shower.
  • Here's a great place to go for ideas (I've linked to her bridal shower section):

  • I 2nd Hostess with the Mostess.  It's one of my favorite blogs.
  • In February a Valentine's theme is obvious, but still cool.?
