Digital OPK question

I use clear blue easy - not the advanced and in the past have only gotten 1 day of smile face.  I didn't track last month but in past months the smile has came on CD 14,15, and 19 - 3 separate months.  The only reason I'm testing this month is for the progesterone test.  It has to be 7 days after a positive OPK.  Well to my surprise yesterday CD 12 I got a positive - I'm still a skeptic on that because I didn't notice any water or EWCM.  So I decide to keep testing.  today CD 13 I got another positive.  That's never happened to me before.  Is that normal for the basic CB digital and should I count this positive today and count tomorrow as 1 DPO?  Thanks!  The 2 blue lines on the control do match - both dark blue.

Re: Digital OPK question

  • From what I remember, the LH surge (which is what OPK's are measuring) occurs 24-36 hours before ovulation. My guess is that you took both tests within that window, and tomorrow would be 1 DPO.
